Fourteen players showed up for the 26th
annual Guava Friend’s Holdem Tournament.
The preliminary 7 rounds took us to dinner time around
7pm.



The tri-tip dinner break happened after 7 rounds
around 7pm followed by the group photo.


Katie the quad queen had one of the best hands of the
night, quad queens.

Until it was beaten by Glenn’s quad aces, the best
hand.

Tom was first out in 14th when his set of fives were dominated
by JimC’s set of sevens.
Peter placed 13th when his flopped two pair fell to Matt’s
queen high straight on the turn.

Steve went out in 12th when his A2 two pair fell to JimC’s
better two pair, A4.

Al was next out in 11th when his AK could not hit against
JimP’s pocket tens.

The top ten moved to final table.

Blake went out in 10th when his pocket eights fell to JimP’s
full house on the river.

Brian went out in 9th when his pair of tens fell to JimP’s
pocket kings.

Matt went out in 8th when his AJ could not hit against Glenn’s
set of tens on the flop.

Eric placed 7th when his pocket tens fell to JimP’s flush on
the turn.

John went out in 6th when his 34 could not hit against Glenn’s
pair of jacks on the flop.

Katie came in 5th when her top pair on the flop fell to JimP’s
pocket aces.

JimC was the bubble boy in 4th when his A7 could not hit
against Glenn’s pair of eights on the flop, winning this year’s bounty.

Glenn came in 3rd when his pocket aces were cracked by Andy’s
full house on the turn.

Andy won the championship when JimP’s open ended straight draw could not
hit against his two pair on the flop.
