Fourteen players showed up for the 25th
annual Guava Friend’s Holdem Tournament.


The tri-tip dinner break happened after 7 rounds
around 7pm followed by the group photo.


Peter had the best hand of the night, quad queens.
Glenn was first out in 14th when his set of eights could not
improve against Michael’s ten high straight.

Michael came in 13th when his AK fell to Tom’s pocket kings.

Steve went out in 12th when his AQ could not improve over
Matt’s pocket tens.

Andy was next out in 11th when his pair of fives fell to Tom’s
flush on the river.

Peter went out in 10th when his set of queens fell to Spenser’s
broadway straight on the river.

Katie went out in 9th when her A8 fell to Matt’s trip queens.

John went out in 8th when his pocket kings fell to JimC’s set
of aces.
Spenser went out in 7th when his A9 was dominated by Tom’s AQ.

Eric went out in 6th when his A8 could not hit against Al’s
pair of threes on flop.

JimP came in 5th when his pocket deuces fell to JimC’s set of
queens.

Matt was the bubble boy in 4th when his AK could not improve
against JimC’s pocket kings.

Tom came in 3rd when his K7 s could not improve against JimC’s
pocket nines.

JimC won the championship when Al’s A3 fell to JimC’s full house kings
over fours on the turn.
