Seven players showed up for this week’s Holdem
Tournament.
Tom had the best hand of the night, quad aces.
Al was first out in seventh when his second pair fell
to JimP’s set of eights on the flop.
Tom placed sixth when his pocket tens fell to Peter’s
pair of kings on the flop.
Michael came in fifth when his pocket jacks were
dominated by Peter’s kings.
Steve was the bubble boy in fourth when his pocket
fives were counterfeited on the river allowing Peter’s ace kicker to play.
JimP placed third when his top pair fell to Peter’s
two pair on the flop.
Peter and JimC fought an extended back and forth
headsup battle for nearly an hour. Peter won the championship when JimC’s ace
kicker fell to his two pair on the turn.
