Seven players showed up for this week’s Holdem
Tournament.
JimC had the best hand of the night, royal flush to
the ace of diamonds.
It was the night of suckouts as many improbable hands
ended up the big winner. As evidence, Jim’s pocket aces had
a 9% chance against Peter’s set of nines, but runner runner
bigger boat gave him the win. Peter got the bad beat.
JimP placed seventh when his trip eights fell to JimC’s
7 percent full house on the river.
Al finished sixth when his top pair top kicker fell to
Peter’s 39 percent king high flush on the river.
Katie placed fifth when her set of tens fell to JimC’s
7 percent royal flush in diamonds on the river.
Tom was the bubble boy in fourth when his top pair
fell to Peter’s 20 percent nut flush on the river.
JimC’s luck finally ran out and he placed third when his
pocket aces were cracked by Peter’s 49 percent trip tens on the turn.
Peter won the championship when Michael’s flush draw
could not hit against his set of aces on the flop.
