Fifteen players showed up for today’s tournament.
The preliminary 7 rounds with a veggie and pizza break
took us to dinner time around 6pm.



At the dinner break, everyone celebrated Glenn’s 77th
birthday.

The delicious brisket dinner with potato salad, veggies,
and desserts was followed by the group photo.




Next it was time to play for the trophy and bragging
rights.

The best hand of the day was quad aces with a king
kicker.

Al was first out in 15th when his open ended straight
draw couldn’t hit against JimC’s top pair.

JimP came in 14th when his top pair nine kicker fell to John’s jack kicker.

Glenn went out in 13th when his AJ fell to Mike’s and Spenser’s king high
straight.
Paul placed 12th when his pocket jacks fell to John’s pocket kings.

Matt was next out in 11th when his pocket tens fell to Dave’s pair of aces
on the river.

Peter went out in 10th when his two pair fell to John’s better two pair on
the river.

Dave went out in 9th when his pocket queens were dominated by Spenser’s
pocket aces.

Steve placed 8th when his KJ was dominated by Andy’s AJ.
Tom placed 7th when his pair of tens fell to Michael’s full house on the
river.

Eric went out in 6th when his T4 could not hit against JimC’s pocket
sevens.

JimC came in 5th when his pocket aces fell to John’s king high flush on the turn.

Michael was the bubble boy in 4th when his second pair nines fell to
Spenser’s top pair kings on the flop.

Spenser came in 3rd when his broadway straight fell to John’s nut flush on
the river.

John won the championship when Andy’s pair of sevens fell to his top pair
on the flop.
